Edmond-Claude holds a master in criminal law and criminal policy in Europe from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, and is a graduate of the University of Birmingham.  

 

After his admission to the Paris Bar in 2001, he was elected first secretary of the Conference for the year 2002. As such, he was assigned to numerous criminal cases and carried out emergency defense missions in immediate summary trials or during indictments at the Paris financial department.

 

Then, he  worked for seven years as a criminal lawyer in a firm specializing in the field of industrial property, in particular on cyber crimes , white collar crime or counterfeiting, before setting uo his own pratice in 2009.

 

Former lecturer at the University of Paris Ouest and Paris Dauphine, he now teaches courses in Criminal Procedure and Oral Expression at the Paris Bar Training School and writes articles on criminal matters for LexisNexis® editions.   

 

He is a former auditor of the "Cycle des Hautes Etudes pour le Développement Economique" (CHEDE), former Deputy Director of Human Rights at the "Union Internationale des Avocats" (UIA), member of the International Bar Association (IBA), of the American Bar Association (ABA), the association of criminal lawyers (ADAP) and the legal task force of the Women's Foundation.

 

He  chairs the legal think tank  CERVEAU DROIT, dedicated to the study of convergences between neurosciences and the law and is also involved alongside his partner in the defense of victims of sexual offenses within PARLER & REVIVRE.

 

He is passionate about theatre, neuroscience, eloquence and martial arts. 

Antoinette Frety

Antoinette FRETY

Graduate of the University of Poitiers, holder of two Masters 2 (legal litigation from the University Montesquieu Bordeaux IV and Business Contracts and Distribution Law from the University Montpellier I) and member of Clare College of the University of Cambridge, Antoinette  began her professional career as a business lawyer within the LEGRAND group, world leader in electrical and digital infrastructures.

​

​Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2011, she practiced in several renowned Parisian law firms (LAUDE ESQUIER & CHAMPEY, CORNET VINCENT SEGUREL, CAA PARDALIS) and developed for eight years  her practice of civil and criminal liability of professionals and companies.

​

In September 2019, she founded FRETY AVOCATS with her brother to continue to practice criminal and complex litigation with humanity and tenacity.

​

She regularly represents victims of sexual offences.

​

She is also a former teacher of the University of Paris Dauphine.

 

Member of the association "Parler et Revivre" dedicated to the defense of victims of sexual offences, she is passionate about oenology, travel and rock.

Diane IACIU

Associate

Diane IACIU holds a double Master's degree in French Law and English law from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Bachelor of Laws from King's College London.

 

She is also a graduate of the White Collar Crime Master from the University of Paris-Est Créteil.

​

Before joining FRETY AVOCATS, Diane completed several internships in renowned law firms (Navacelle, BG2V, Vey & Associés), where she specialized in criminal law and White Collar Crime, as well as in within public institutions (Assemblée Nationale).

 

Diane joined FRETY Avocats in September 2021 and works in various fields, mainly in Criminal Law, White Collar Crime as well as civil and commercial Litigation.

Passionate about boxing and rugby, Diane is also fond of traveling and cinema.
